Ultrafiltration is a pressure-driven purification process in which water is forced through a semipermeable membrane, retaining most of suspended solids and high-molecular-weight solutes present in the water. It's mostly used in RO pretreatment, river and ground water recoveries, terciary treatment and industrial purification/recovery process.
Enkrott's KX UF systems are outside-to-inside technology, have a nominal pore size from 0,03 to 0,1 µm and can operate with a maximum pressure range of 4 to 6 bar, depending on the membrane applied. The membranes are made of PVDF and applied to waters more heavy/dirty. Our systems can either be applied in dead end or cross flow filtration and are designed to achieve the most efficient and reliable operating conditions, totally customized to your water.
