Enkrott carried out a project in Romania, which consisted in the design and installation of a chemical treatment system in a combined cycle power plant, with a capacity of 430 megawatts (MW), located in the city of Iernut.

Custom designed, the system includes two chemical storage and dosing stations for two different areas of the plant,
installed in containers. This solution ensures a strict temperature adjustment regardless of external conditions, greater safety in the handling and storage of chemicals and less space occupied in the complex.

Inside the containers there are several skids (metallic structures) interconnected through a high pressure circuit and with fully automated control. The system supplies the combined cycle with diverse agents: oxygen scavenger, alkali and anti-scaling. Furthermore, a corrosion inhibitor and an antifreeze agents applied in the closed refrigeration circuit are added.

The project was developed with high technical specifications, suitable for this market segment and this specific application, fulfilling high requirements in terms of safety and automation.
