Chemical dosing solutions from the Portuguese company affiliated to Bondalti and specialised in water treatment are being adopted at combined cycle facilities in Kuwait and Oman.

Enkrott has expanded into the Middle East and the Persian Gulf, winning contracts for three projects in Kuwait and Oman, after a call for tenders with high-level technical specifications.

Offering a wide range of solutions, equipment and services for water treatment, including the supply, storage, dosing and control of chemicals, Enkrott implements projects for combined cycle facilities in cooperation with local EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction), and through joint ventures with local and Spanish EPC.

In Oman, the Enkrott solution is based on 20 chemical dosing skids used at a seawater desalination plant, to produce drinking water for the population and de-mineralised water for the associated combined cycle thermal power plant. This project was coordinated between Enkrott engineering and production teams from Portugal and Spain and those of the customer, from Madrid, Oman and India.

Also in Oman, in another venture for the energy sector, Enkrott is working on a chemical reagent dosing system used in the water/steam cycle of the combined cycle, with a completely containerised solution.

In Kuwait, also for the energy sector, Enkrott supplies a reagent dosing system for a combined cycle and for those of the refrigerating circuit with seawater cooling towers.
